Part of one of Livingston’s oldest homes, the Carriage House is the perfect place to get away and decompress on is lofty balcony reading a book, streaming your favorite shows in its chic interior, checking out local sites, or interacting with one of its reported spirits. The Carriage House is part of one of Livingston’s oldest homes built in the 19th century from local virgin cypress. History lives on in this historic gem and the home is within walking distance to antique shops, restaurants and cafes, and the Polk County museum. Additionally, it is just minutes driving to Lake Livingston State Park, Lake Livingston boat ramps and recreational areas, Naskila Gaming casino, Big Thicket National Preserve and numerous restaurants, stores, and attractions. Upstairs, our guests are treated to a plush king-sized primary bedroom with a reading nook stocked with plenty of reading material for a long stay and balcony access. The secondary bedroom offers a twin-sized and twin trundle daybed replete with lavish bedding. The primary bedroom is equipped with bedside tables with built-in Bluetooth audio speakers for music streaming, wireless charging for compatible phones, and USB ports for trouble free charging. Downstairs, guests are offered everything they need in the kitchen for a short- or long-term stay and can relax to their favorite shows on the large television. The sofa converts into a queen-size sleeper. Guest’s can also enjoy their extensive private balcony and patio areas or enjoy an evening next to the fire pit or take a relaxing soak in the primary bathroom’s jacuzzi tub.
