The house appeared to be in perfect condition. Check in was a bit hard for me but i did arrive at night so i couldnt see much around me. The bathroom had a few issues with the toilet being broken and the sink did get blocked but other than that it was perfect. When i arrived i didnt know how to turn on the heating i got in contact with the host and they assisted me in figuring out how to do so. Very close to the town centre and the bus is right outside too that will take you right into town. If im ever back in basingstoke i will definitely rebook this property. Very cosy too with minimal decorations but still very welcoming

Nice apartment in a quiet block. Well furnished and decorated. Kitchen well equipped. Housekeeping to a good standard. Free private allocated parking. An issue with self check in, the lock box was empty due to human error, but someone came to assist within 25 minutes and sorted it out. A few maintenance issues which I reported on day 1. Response from host was good and I know the issues were in hand, although not sorted during my stay. Not too much of an inconvenience, but really should have been picked up by the host beforehand.

Hazel called a couple of days before we checked in to let us know there was a problem in the origional place and we would be staying in another (which wasn’t a problem) :) For the pros: The host is nice and communicates well. The kitchen had pots and pans. There is a washing machine and the wifi works well in the sitting room. The parking is secure and location of the apartment pretty central. Hazel left is a Christmas gift which was very nice and thoughtful The cons: -The cost is pretty high for what you get. -there was quite a bit of cosmetic damage in the apartment. -we were only left with 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and had to buy our own.

Very good overall experience. Unfortunately had to have a replacement apartment due to someone self isolating. This was done in a proffesional manor. Replacement apartment clean and suited our needs, just needed a bit of TLC. For a first time user of Airbnb, everything came up to our expectations. Certainley more comfortable than staying in a well know hotel room for several days.
