We had a really lovely weekend at this house. It was just right for 6 of us (3 couples) - comfortable, plenty of space, really well furnished and supplied with everything we needed. It was a fair bit better than we had expected from the photos. Nicky was really friendly, and communicated well about how to get in - her instructions were clear and made it very easy. The position is great - an short walk to the harbour end of Ilfracombe, with a lovely walk up to a hill fort and a view point on the coast path nearby. The number 301 bus from Barnstaple to Combe Martin goes by, and stops close to the house. All round, it worked really well for us.

As a family of five with a 5month old baby it suited all our needs. Plenty of space so we weren’t on top of one another. Useful instructions on arrival along side a nice bottle of wine and biscuits. Felt like home from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again . Thank you Nikki

We had a really lovely time staying at Nicky’s. The house was spacious and clean and there was everything you could possibly need for a home from home stay. We have stayed in others where it’s felt very impersonal like cheap bought crockery and very basic as they are clearly set up for rentals, this one felt very much like a home stay. Lovely light airy rooms with beautiful bed linen and loads of clean towels. A generous supply of coffee, which was much appreciated and a lovely welcome note with a bottle of wine! We were 3 couples and a child and there was plenty of room, very soundproof so we didn’t feel on top of each other. We had a few family members over for a visit in the Saturday and it was the perfect place for hosting without feeling too precious about damaging or breaking anything as it was so homely. The house contents were lovely, lots of super quirky, shabby chic furniture and Nick naks. We loved our stay, thanks Nicky!
