With 2 bedrooms & 1.5 baths, it is decorated with locally-sourced wood - simple, RUSTIC - low key and eco-friendly. Offering an authentic jungle experience in a prime location, Keith's Shelter sits just steps from the Blue Flag beach of Playa Guiones - perfect for yogis, surfers, and adventurers! GPS coordinates: 9.9439120, -85.6680260 Located adjacent to the Playa Guiones Nature Preserve, Keith's Shelter is as close as you can get in Nosara to our beautiful white sand beach and a world-class surf break - only a leisurely 3 minute walk from your door! Newly built in fall 2016, this is a 3-star accomodation at a 2-star price - creating a 5-star stay for budget-conscious travelers! The master bedroom has AC , a queen bed, a safe & a private half bath. The second bedroom features AC and a high-speed fan, 2 single beds. There are two private balconies on the second floor, all accessed by a covered staircase. The main floor has a large fully appointed kitchen with ceramic tiled countertops and floors, plus a wooden island & a raised wooden bar with an opening to the living & dining area, which can be closed with wooden shutters. A refrigerator, gas range, microwave oven, blender, toaster and coffee maker, plus a washer and dryer and a high-speed fan are also included. Adjacent to the kitchen is a spacious covered outdoor dining area and living space, with a large dining table, 6 lounge chairs, 1 hammock, two more high-speed fans. A full bathroom with a hot-water sink & shower sits just off the kitchen, plus there is an outdoor shower just outside the door. Both bedroom doors & the kitchen door lock with deadbolts to help keep your possessions secure. A secure cage locks up your surfboards, too! Broadband cable Internet is also provided - 100 mbps service broadcast over a secure WiFi system.

Awesome stay in Nosara. Wi-Fi did not work and made it very hard for us to do anything
Perfect
We stayed here for 2weeks. The location is perfect. Super close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The courtyard is bursting with all kinds of critters. We made friends with the iguanas and enjoyed watching the daily commute of the monkeys, coatis, birds, moon crabs, and squirrels. The house is rustic, it has comfortable beds with a/c in the rooms.Bring earplugs as monkeys and traffic can be a little noisy. Master bedroom has a 1/2 bath which is awesome. Downstairs has a functional kitchenette and bath with walk in shower. The outdoor living space is great with 2 hammocks, large table with chairs, and fans. Pipa fría stand just a stones throw away at the beach access trail. Had a magical time would recommend it to any traveler who is used to camping and adventuring.
Francesco was an incredibly pleasant host. He’s a great guy who is always willing to help out in whatever way you need. The air bnb was wonderful, very close to the beach and very comfortable and clean. Ideal for any surfer who wants quick access to check the waves in the morning and close access to central guiones.
This place is literally a 3min walk from the beach and the surf! The outdoor space and shower are perfect after coming back from the salty sea. It is a fantastic base to stay in Nosara as you can walk anywhere from there. There is one indoor shower/toilet downstairs and only one of the rooms has a en-suite toilet. This means going to the toilet from one of the rooms requires climbing stairs quite frequently. But the biggest draw back is the dust. The house is very closely located to the main road which is a dirt track. We stayed during a very busy season (Christmas/New Year) and the road was constantly in use. The terrace was almost unusable as it was covered with a dust layer within less than one hour after cleaning. The dust makes it to everywhere in the house. We didn’t spend much time at the house so it was manageable but at the end of our stay it was noticeable that everything had a layer of dust on it. Nosara in general is very dusty during the dry season, you’ll probably struggle to escape it in the first place.
