Jessica’s basement apartment was spacious, clean, and very tastefully decorated. Lots of amenities (like washer/dryer, full kitchen, TV in every room). Full kitchen was nice to have to avoid eating out. It’s located in a nice neighborhood. Nothing within walking distance that I was aware of, but plenty within a short drive and we really just needed a place to sleep with 2 kids. Bathroom was a bit on the small side but the shower made up for it with lots of settings and nice hot water. The only thing that threw me off was no windows (duh, basement apartment)! It’s just like the pictures and we weren’t there for the sunshine. So if you need a spacious, clean, apartment in Roanoke…this is it! Jessica was quick to respond to any questions and even graciously offered us a later check out time when she noticed we got in late the night before. No complaints here!

Jesica and her family were so warm and welcoming! And the place was beautiful. We will definitely be staying again. One of the sweetest hosts I’ve encountered.
