This accommodation is very special indeed, don’t hesitate to book it- do it now if you want the best place to stay in the area. It is within a few kilometres of the very pleasant town of Sheffield and within easy reach of many attractions such as Cradle mountain, Mole Creek caves and also the coast. The cottage is very well designed and spotlessly clean, creating a very comfortable space both inside and out. The hosts have thought of everything, providing delicious home grown and homemade produce for a hearty breakfast and an ample supply of wood for the wood burner. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Stonehaven Retreat was absolutely beautiful and well-appointed. We had a wonderful time staying there, and the homemade breakfast ingredients were superb. Highly recommended!

Amazing location, very secluded area. Amazing views. Felt very homely in the cottage and was great to relax and unwind after doing numerus hikes.

We enjoyed our stay at Stonehaven very much. It is the loveliest place we’ve stayed - exceptional in every way. The place was fresh, clean and beautifully appointed. Every amenity was excellent and made our stay comfortable and special. The hosts were quietly welcoming, allowing us to decide how much we wished to interact. They had generously provided some tasteful and tasty items for our use. The accommodation, while private, allowed us to feel part of the beautiful environment, with majestic views to Mt Roland, a pretty garden setting to enjoy the wildlife, and access to the farm and its animals and plants. We were close to Sheffield, a delightful town with beautiful murals and excellent shops and cafes (although we only ate at our place), but we spent much of our time in the natural wilderness at Cradle Mountain. We had the most wonderful time with Heather and Peter and their ‘good boy’ Badger on their beautiful Stonehaven Farm. Thank you Heather and Peter (and Badger).

Spent a week at Stonehaven & really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was great, comfortable, great views, we felt right at home with very friendly & helpful hosts. Peter & Heather were really good hosts, couldn't fault anything. We would highly recommend this accommodation.
