We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Villa Oro Verde. Just what we needed to recharge, relax, and find some peace. This property is amazing for so many reasons, and I hope to stay there again soon! Thanks to all the staff at YouGetHere for making our vacation everything we were looking for. Pura Vida!!

This was my first ever trip out the country celebrating my 22nd bday. Honestly the pictures won’t do it. It was giving exactly what it was suppose to !!! The view was beautiful. The rooms was beautiful i loved everything about the house. Be aware this bnb is in the mountains you NEED a 4x4 car the car rental gave us the wrong car it was so dangerous going up the mountains especially since we got there at night. Gladly one of there staff who guided us up assisted us right away !! Also this bnb is almost 4 hours away from SJO airport. Since we wasn’t really able to use the car we took cab service for groceries they charge $45 going and coming back which they wait for us & took us back to our bnb. The cons about this house was understanding it’s in the jungle there are SO MANY BUGS. The first couple of days there was spiders, little & medium size Roaches. If you keep the lights on in the bathrooms moths will be everywhere obviously cause the attraction to the light. Keep it off !!

Our family of 6 adults just had an amazing stay at Villa Oro Verde! We were celebrating our parents 50th anniversary and this was the perfect location...once we got used to driving on the roads leading to the villa. Driving in CR is an experience. You will need a 4x4. But if you want beautiful views, an infinity pool and to be surrounded with monkeys and toucans, then this is the Villa for you. The YouGetHere staff were always responsive and helped us arrange tours as well as the private chef service for 2 nights. I highly recommend the chefs - both our meals were outstanding and the chefs (ask for J.P.) were very accommodating to our requests. The Villa itself is perfect for 6 adults, allowing you all to have ample room. And the kitchen has all the basics covered. Check out the fruit guy in the red pickup on the road leading into Uvita. For a dinner out, try Scala, just a 15-minute drive on the gravel road from the Villa. Pura Vida!

This location was absolutely spectacular! The views of the Pacific Ocean and the mountains was exactly what we needed for a reset, recharge and reinvigorating vacation getaway!! Our host was very responsive and provided great directions on getting to our meeting point. The prep that YGH provided was wonderful - we had in home massages, private chef and all our excursions planned prior to our arrival! THUS, stress free! The home had everything we needed AND more. A few considerations to note: you must have a 4x4, plan to arrive before dark (although we survived), the pillows are very hard and not comfortable (bring your own if this bothers you), and expect power outages during rainy season (ours was out almost 24 hours). The power outage was the biggest downside and I would recommend the owner investing in a generator or solar system to aid in this happening frequently (our power flickered every night). Overall an amazing stay and I would recommend!!

First and foremost the pictures don’t do this house justice. It’s located on the top of the mountain with insane views. The drive to the house from the main road is about 25 minutes. You need a 4X4 vehicle and if you don’t enjoy a bumpy ride then this isn’t the place for you. The house is well maintained and very clean. There is a toad that comes every night to hang out and you’ll see Coati running around and playing. Truly a great home. The part that truly impressed me was the property management company. The attentiveness and level of customer service is top notch. I got a flat tire and was stuck at the house and they sent someone from the company to replace my flat. We had issues with plumbing and they had it fixed within 6 hours. I asked for ice to be delivered and they had someone there the next morning. They brought luggage that wouldn’t fit in our car to and from the house. Top notch service. Don’t hesitate to book! Pura Vida!
