Situé entre bergerac (ville dˋart et dˋhistoire),et sainte foy la grande en Dordogne ( nouvelle Aquitaine ) . A 2 mn à pied du Chateau de Gageac ,et à 10 mn en vélo du célèbre GOLF de Vigier . A 15 mn en voiture de BERGERAC . Au milieu des vignes ,très belle vue . hébergement rénové avec gout ,piscine au sel ,calme et tranquilité garantie, parfait pour une grande famille ou un groupe d'amis . Nombreux sites touristiques à proximité,grottes ,golf ,châteaux… Boulangerie et toutes commodités à 10 m 4 grandes chambres lumineuses avec salle de bain et fenêtres. Grande cuisine ouverte sur le salon et la salle à manger avec vue sur la piscine et le jardin sans vis à vis.

Idéal pour plusieurs couples ou avec adolescents. Grande surface.Chaque chambre a sa salle de bains. L' espace commun est grand. La piscine idéale. La cuisine fonctionnelle.

We had a brilliant week at Marie’s house. The photos don’t do it justice, absolutely stunning setting, beautifully tranquil. The pool is huge and clean - salt water and 28 degrees every day. All bedrooms had en-suites which worked super well for a multi generation family holiday. Marie was super responsive when we couldn’t work the wifi and fixed it for us immediately. The recommended Le Bistro du Clocher which is 5 minutes drive was outstanding. Also recommend the wine tasting paired with food at Chateau Feely (also 5 min drive away). We will be back! Thank you Marie!

There is plenty of interest and entertainment within easy reach of the house. The towns of Bergerac and Sainte Foy la Grande have been centre of the wine trade on the river Dordogne since medieval times.Both about 15 kilometers from the house. Within a 25 kilometers radius of Gageac,there are many more chateaux and Bastides (fortified towns) than one can explore in one holidays .
Longer day trips can be taken to the upper reaches of the Dordogne and its famous old towns of Domme, Sarlat, ,Rocamadour, or south to Cahors and the valley of the Lot .
The world of smart shopping, galleries and opera is, an hour and a half drive away in Bordeaux,as are its golden beaches and famous oyster beds.
Many outdoor recreations are catered for locally .beautiful Golf course of international repute just 7 kilometers away ,at Chateau de Vigiers
And several smaller courses in the district .
Sports facilities,include riding,canoeing on the Dordogne or the Veziers , and tennis at Saussignac .
Last , but not least , there are the vineyards welcome visitors to tastings on their premises.
