An absolutely beautiful and tranquil cottage in a perfect location to explore the surrounding area. Sue and Roger were superb hosts and they made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The local pub, tea rooms and deli in the village are only a short stroll down the road and the coast, Sandringham and Kings Lynn are easily reached within 15-20 mins. We cannot recommend Sue’s cottage enough for those wanting a peaceful stay which is so accessible to everything you could possibly want for an amazing stay in Norfolk. Thank you Sue and Roger for making our stay so perfect and we will certainly be back 😊
The upsides of the listing: - spacious for a family of three - pretty garden surrounding the property - easy and flexible check-in - cozy living room with a fireplace - access to the garden through large french doors - host willing and available to help The downside of listing: - the house wasn't cleaned thoroughly. There was dust and stains and crumbs from previous use. This was most noticeable in the kitchen and toilet. Overall a positive experience.
Sue was extremely welcoming and friendly. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. I would highly recommend her place, it had everything that you would need, our 5 year old particularly loved her beautiful garden. Thanks for a lovely stay Sue.
Set in a quiet village with easy access to North Norfolk coast, Sue's place was really lovely, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen diner with lovely views over garden pond, great for bird watching! Loved the wood burner too. Thank you for the extra goodies we really appreciated them. Look forward to returning another time.

I have lived in East Rudham since 1995, so am familiar with the local area. I just love exploring the Norfolk coast and countryside. My passion is wildlife photography and my spare time is spent doing just that on the local farmland and nature reserves in the locality. My husband, Roger is a historian and is currently writing a book after completing his PhD. Our large garden keeps us busy in our spare time.
