The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, a nice quiet location, peaceful surroundings, and very cozy. We enjoyed our time there, and it felt like home. I would highly recommend this cottage, and would stay there again if ever back in Florida! The host was wonderful, and very friendly, and helpful.

Tefa is a wonderful host, very informative before arrival, making sure we had no issues upon arrival (which we had none). Overall great communication! Her home is very quate, clean, comfortable, and peaceful. It has everything you need to spend the entire day enjoying the beautiful lake and having a BBQ. It is well equipped and supplied, it had everything we needed and plenty of back up supplies so you will not run out. It’s located approximately forty minutes from the University of Florida. If you enjoy mountain biking as we do, it’s approximately an hour to Santos Trail Head and San Felasco Trail Head, both Florida State Parks. There are other Florida State Parks nearby to visit and enjoy well. We had a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful stay and will definitely return.

This was an amazing spot for a couple to get away for some time. The sunsets were amazing, it was a very peaceful trip.

What a great little cottage! Decorated so beautifully 😍 Very clean, insects were never an issue (this time of year). The location is perfect: many springs, gardens, historical parks nearby. The cottage had everything we needed to make home cooked meals. We use one of the paddle boards in the beautiful lake, on a sunset. So amazing! And yes, the gator still there but it wasn’t an issue if you know and listen. Neighbors joked about it. Loved the outside shower! We had a very relaxing vacation. Thank you!
