We loved staying at Parkesburg Villa! Lovely old house, very comfortable. Walking to restaurants was a big bonus.

The area was not in favor of African American people at all! On top of that there were actual picked cotton in the house!! Came home on Friday night there was a rat in the bathroom, my brother opened the door and it ran out. Second day the rat was in the food. I felt very uncomfortable with the place after that. I emailed the appropriate party, I didn’t get a response until I replied, “no response”? Then she replied and said I’m sorry you seen a mouse and I will SEE if we can compensate you for some of your stay. 🙄 then again no one responded. I really don’t care about the area it was more of the rats and their lack of concern that makes me feel it was a good deal because it was across from a funeral home with RATS I’m sorry I would give them one star if I could. I am so upset and disgusted to say the least. This is my first review in over 5 years of using Airbnb. I felt this all should be addressed!

We were extremely pleased with the accommodations. It felt like home, the moment you walked in it smelled wonderful, the decor was beautiful, home spotless and very spacious. You feel the love the host put in the home. Host was very gracious with their allowances. It made a trip intended to join families with my daughter's upcoming wedding even more enjoyable. We recommend the stay. God Bless Naaman and Marian.

We were left without a place to stay last minute due to an unfortunate rental situation. Marian reaponded to is in minutes and has the place ready for us in an hour. It was so cute and homey. Great restaurants. Comfy beds. Marian came in clutch!!!!!! Stay with her. We will when we come back again

Spacious home for the eight of us during a long weekend stay. The house is located in a residential neighborhood. There is a moderate traffic at the intersection in front of the property. Overall, we had a comfortable stay. The home has an effective kitchen and the dinning room is well-suited for serving home cooked meals. We appreciate the welcoming gifts, especially the homemade cookies.
