Welcome to Galeru Mattha. "Mattha" meaning "deep rest" is a place of deep innerspring rejuvenation. Relax and enjoy the views in Noosa’s Hinterland and immerse yourself in the blissful serenity of our native bushfoods orchard. The Space Coming up the driveway you instantly forget your worries. At the top of the hill sits ‘Mattha’ a beautiful two-bedroom rammed earth home, perfect for your weekend getaway. Comfortably sleeping up to 8, this stay is perfect for all your needs. Whether it’s a family holiday or a romantic weekend in the quiet, secluded hinterland. Relax as you watch the colours in the sky shift with the sunset while calmly floating in our saltwater, infinity pool with mountain views. The grounds are unique, with QLD's largest Social Enterprise bushfoods orchard- Galeru Mangga, located on the property that you will drive past and can view from the expansive verandah. Feel free to roam about the homestead gardens, which hold an array of tropical fruits including mango, starfruit, pink grapefruit and more. Our open plan living/ kitchen area is perfect to relax in, by the fire or behind full glass views of the valley. Rest assured all your needs will be catered for with Mattha’s spacious kitchen. Equipped with a large fridge and freezer, a four gas burner stove top and electric oven, our kitchen includes all the essential appliances: kettle, toaster, convection microwave and dishwasher with all utensils and crockery provided for your convenience. Mattha also offers a living room with a comfortable, electric recliner couch sat in front of a large TV to keep screen time separate from the serene open plan area. During your stay, you will have full access to our laundry, which has a washing machine and dryer to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. For security reasons the property has a seperate caretakers abode but this is quite seperate and privacy is assured. Location Situated just 5 minutes from the highway, Galeru Mattha is the perfect space to getaway while still being conveniently located to access all areas of the beautiful Sunshine Coast destinations. Cooroy is a gorgeous small town with shops, parks, library, art gallery, hotel, takeaway Chinese, Pizza, Smokehouse, and an RSL. Just take a quick 4-minute drive and you will have everything you need. (Currently there is a detour due to bridge out). Looking for more of an experience? Noosa Heads’ famous Hasting Street and National Park is just a 30-minute drive away. Enjoy both the beaches and the bush in one stay. Please note, there is public transport (bus and train) in town. However, a car will be needed to get to the property.
