Lovely location. It was nice to chat to Jenny on occasions outside the front door. All we needed in the annex. The peacock that visited the garden was the icing on the cake. Shame David’s Tent event is moving location or we would definitely have booked for next year.

We had a great stay in Henfield. Jenny is a friendly and helpful host who responded very quickly when we needed some assistance. The accommodation was comfortable and spacious for the two of us. The local amenities were excellent with food shopping particularly good and all within easy walking distance. The local library staff were very helpful and our host provided a library card so we could take out books on local walks. Henfield is an excellent base from which to explore the South Downs and also to visit ancient sites such as the Roman palaces at Fishbourne and Bignor. Overall highly recommended.

Jenny gave us a friendly welcome and lots of good recommendations. The house was comfortable and we felt at home. The local shops and restaurants are a short walk away and Brighton and the West Sussex coast is within easy reach. We had a great time there!

Enjoyed our stay. We picked Henfield because of its location to a number of different places in the area; it was better than expected. Very short walk to nice village with good amenities. Ate Sunday lunch at the Plough - very nice, ice-creams from Sprinkles - lovely and popped into Truffles bakery a couple of times for some nice treats (opens nice and early - 7:30am). Nice local walks, through deer park and South Downs Link path - you can walk for miles without having to drive if you want to. We took a bus into Brighton one day - only 34 mins each way, much easier than driving. The house is spacious, had pretty much everything you could want. Comfortable bed, good shower, good kitchen facilities, nice conservatory (although it does get a bit hot, but it's easy to ventilate). Good sized TV, although no Freeview/Freesat; only internet streaming which was fine for us, but good to be aware. Overall, very comfortable, would stay here again. Jenny very helpful, friendly and responsive.
