Very responsive host. Because of the excessive heat the A/C was struggling to catching up, so when we raised this to him he immediately called a HVAC which we really liked. Eventually HVAC didn’t need to stop by as A/C finally caught up with the heat but we liked his responsiveness and concern. He reached out to us multiple times after that to make sure we are doing okay. Very nicely maintained house and more than enough supply of the everything including utensils.

Second time staying with Markus was just as enjoyable as the first! The house was just as we all remembered it, and continued to provide a comfortable home-away-from-home feel. Check-in was seamless and allowed us to get right to the the fun quickly on the first day. Kids loved the ample backyard to play Frisbee in, tons of pillows on the couches to make a fort with, and the jacuzzi bathtub. Adults appreciated relaxing with coffee on the porch, a minute-long daily commute to the beach, and a well-stocked kitchen to make our own meals in. Markus again provided the means to make another effortlessly memorable experience for us in Galveston, and we hope to visit again soon!

Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend! Nice, quiet location and close to the beach. Two families with 10 people total shared the rental and we had plenty of space.

A great spot on the west side! This was a beautifully decorated home in a great spot. We enjoyed a quick drive to the public beach (which had parking, or you could drive on the beach). The home had two distinct living/ sleeping areas that are great for families traveling together, or multiple generations. We enjoyed lovely sunsets from the deck and could see the waves as well. Markus had quick communication and included all we needed in the home. Definitely recommend!

A hidden gem on the west end! Thoughtfully appointed and a very comfortable place to relax after a day on the beach or shopping on the Strand. It is a bit of a drive but all the touristy stuff in town is easily accessible and the beaches on the west end are less crowded. Markus was informative about the area and made check in and check out a breeze. Magnificent sunrises and sunsets from the decks! I would not hesitate to stay here again.
