The duplex was beautiful. The beach in walking distance. Shared common space was the pool. It had all sorts of beach items available to use if you wished too. Pool was lovely..

Overall our stay was very good - would recommend! The accommodations were perfect for our family and due in part to the hurricane destruction in the area, the home currently has a beautiful and largely unobstructed ocean view. The kitchen was large enough to make sure we stayed fed and saved money by allowing us to cook in for 8 people. The owners were always responsive and accommodating of our requests. Our only complaint was that a couple of the televisions in the house didn't work - but that wasn't a huge deal as the weather was perfect and we weren't inside much. This is a duplex and the unit next to us was always occupied, but that wasn't any inconvenience. The distance from the downtown area and the reconstruction progress meant that we nearly had our own private beach area. Even with the area under reconstruction and there being less people overall, traffic was heavy on and off the island at times. Far enough from stores and eateries that you generally need to bike or drive.

Terrific home. Fantastic beach access. Lots of space. Tons of beach towels. Nice supplies. Excellent communication. Very cozy. Extremely clean. Shopped at the Publix down the road and had plenty of kitchen equipment to cook with. Bravo, Irina!

Family get away with a walk to the beach and not having to cross a street. Fabulous time that went too quickly!! Thanks Irina for sharing your home.

The place itself was very nice--spacious, terrific screened in porch, lots of amenities. None of this was her fault, but we had no idea that the island was still so much under construction. We had to walk through debris from the hurricane to get to the beach, including broken glass, downed trees, and cracked walkways. Construction was going on every other house or worse. Next door neighbor's house was falling in. Neighborhood construction was very loud and prevented us from spending time on the porch on 2 days of our trip. There were 4 construction crews with large trucks and the house was shaking (this was at 7am). It's impossible to understand this from far away, as all of the businesses say "we're open!" What they mean by that is that they now have a food truck that's open. There were very few restaurants and no other businesses. We had to leave the island to find things to do aside from walking on beach. The traffic was terrible. Very nice place inside but outside was awful.
