Check in was advertised as 4pm, but host said I can check in by 3pm.Area is in a council estate, you do need a car to get there, parking can be difficult if you get there late as residents in the area parked their cars selfishly by taking 1.5 space for 1 car. I got to wait for about 45 mins. fortunately for someone to get out before I could park by 21:30pm. Check in was easy, host's partner (I did not meet the host herself as she wasn't in) greeted me , we chatted for a short while and never see them since, even when I checked out. The property is very dated, old and mouldy in some places. The garden was in a terrible dirty, messy and rubbish thrown around state. Window sill were mouldy with yellow stain, , windows weren't clean as it is stained dirty. Honestly, I avoided touching anything if I could. Bedroom is extremely basic that consist a bed, and wooden bedside table and a metal rack for hanging clothing with 5 hangers provided. Bathroom needed to share with other long term lodgers. One of the lodger was coughing his lungs out for hours and hearing him sort of vomiting loudly a few times in the bathroom which made me worry if he has any diseases. The kitchen's sink was stacked up to the brim with unwashed plates, cups , utensils, and without any washing liquid, making it impossible to wash anything or dare to use their glasses , plates or utensils. There were yellow stains in the bathroom on wall and bath tub. Whilst sleeping as it was a warm /hot night, there were lots of all sorts of insects flying in the room and landed on my face a few times. In overall, although its £27.00per night, there should have a min. standard if they plan to rent for short or long term rental. To me, they are making money out of it as much as they could without providing the min. good standard. What made me annoyed was, at 9:15am, I was sent an email message asking me to leave by 10am, I do know the check out time is 10am, but seriously,do they need to be patronising ? In overall, I'm very disappointed with the standard received, it will be a HUGE NO to this room ever again nor will I recommend anyone to go for it. I'm not stopping anyone to rent it, its your choice after reading this. I do have photos as proof, therefore the owner could not say that I'm lying.

room shabby, blinds broken. kitchen filthy dirty, dirty dishes stacked beside sink, bin smelly. bathroom clean.
