The house really is a gem. We stayed for a week and felt the welcoming spirit of Stella's family history everyday. For our group of 5 (two couples and a single), 3 separate bedrooms was perfect. Layout of house allows privacy - master bedroom and bath are separated from other 2 bedrooms by a pair of lovely sitting rooms. Kitchen has every possible pan/utensil you would need and tons of counter space plus a peninsula for people to sit and help (or just chat with) the cooks. We had many great conversations around the big, welcoming dining table. Of all AirBNBs we've stayed in, this one was best stocked. Grocery store is short drive away. Santa Fe is also close by. For 3 days we commuted to Taos ski field w/ no probs. Would love to come back in warmer season to hang out in Villa Vigil's charming front sunroom and hike in Bandelier (just up the road). Great house, great hospitality, great week. TY very much to Stella and Jack.

Stella and Jack were great hosts! They met us at check in and were friendly and personable. They were very available, but gave us privacy. The space was clean, cozy and homey and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. We loved sitting on the patio in the evenings with a glass of wine. It was full of thoughtful touches, which was much appreciated, especially considering that the location is kind of remote. We didn't need to run out for anything that we forgot because our immediate needs were all provided for. They even left breakfast for us in the fridge! The beds were comfortable and internet was fast, especially for the area. I would unreservedly recommend their home and I would stay again.

Two senior couples enjoyed a week's stay in Stella place. It is spacious, as well-equipped as any Airbnb we've stayed at, comfortable and ideally located for touring this area of NM. Stella is a friendly and responsive host. When we return beautiful northern NM, we will check first to see if Stella's place is available. We give it our highest possible recommendation.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Stella and Jack, who welcomed us with genuine enthusiasm. Their warm smile and friendly demeanour immediately put us at ease, making us feel like old friends rather than guests. Their dedication to ensuring a comfortable stay was evident from the very beginning. The property in which I resided provided a sense of security and belonging despite being situated outside of my native country. So much so, that I often found myself forgetting that I was not, in fact, occupying my own residence. If you're considering booking an Airbnb hosted by Stella and Jack, do not hesitate for a moment. You can trust that your stay will be marked by exceptional hospitality, genuine kindness, and a commitment to making your experience truly memorable. Lovely and comfortable house. Only one AC unit in the kitchen for the entire house, so the other end of the house can get warm when the temperature is extremely high, which it was during my visit. Loud fireworks during 4th of July week late into the night. Dogs barking all hours of the night. None of that is the hosts fault but it’s an issue.
