Great short stay! Loved how we could walk to most restaurants and park right in front of the house. Would definitely rent again.

From my research of available AirBnb properties in Staunton, many of them are in older homes in keeping with the town’s historic character. The Little House is one of those well-maintained places that allow a tourist to get a taste of 19th century architectural design without sacrificing too many modern amenities. There’s no dishwasher or microwave, but those were the only kitchen appliances I missed having. The kitchen is otherwise as well equipped as possible within the confines of the limited space available in this 19th century home. The same is true of the bathroom, which had a high sided tub that might be a bit challenging for those with balance issues. The second floor bedroom also requires some ducking in places because of the slant of the ceiling in the loft. Frankly, I was surprised how well equipped the house felt, how many comforts and amenities the house offered for the price, and the care and consideration the owners took to make our stay fun and relaxing.

Very Cozy with a comfortable bed and loved the big porcelain tub. Well maintained historic home. Loved the charm of the 1855 cottage. Very quiet neighborhood and convenient to downtown.

Very nice stay, home was charming and Staunton was such a lovely town, exceeded our expectations!
