The camp site was beautiful, the bell tent was comfortable, the beds comfy and warm, and the facilities were kept really clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, but we thought from the welcome pack there would be more activities to do on the site. My niece and nephew were also looking forward to playing swing ball, but it was broken. They did enjoy using the table tennis table though. We also thought the site shop would be open from 4-6pm every day, but it wasn’t.

Night Pastures is a beautiful site and I am sure that being a peaceful location the off grid experience would be wonderful. The tent was clean had cutlery and utensils and the beds were made up and had towels supplied. The main problem is that there was heavy rain for most of the time we were on site and this is an outdoor experience. However we hadn't appreciated that if there was really wet weather we would have to walk quite a way to the cooking hob and the shower. Also if we cooked in the kitchen there wasn't a covered area to eat apart from walking back through the wet field. Unfortunately there was no light or hot water in the nearest shower room at the side of the field for 2 days and the helpful owner then said we could use the hot shower at the far end of the clearing which family members said was too far away. Being off grid there is nowhere on site to charge phones. Again the helpful site owner lent us his charge bank so we could communicate

Loved our stay at night pastures! Really beautiful spot and perfect getaway from London-would highly recommended:)
