Chris’ home is a perfect mountain winter ski vacation getaway. Just 15 minutes from the gondola and ski village but a world away with insane nighttime star views, peaceful quiet snowy mornings, and full service snow removal and picturesque but easy access with 4WD even in winter storms.

Chris' place was a perfect winter getaway with everything we needed for our 1-month stay just outside Steamboat Springs! He was extremely responsive, polite and helpful. The location provides a peaceful retreat and is the perfect distance from town/its activities - far enough away, yet not too much of a drive. Highly recommend staying at this property.

Let me just start by saying that I travel for a living. I stay in other peoples homes 8 months at a time and this home was amazing, It was exactly how it was described - The house was warm and inviting there was absolutely nothing that I needed while I was there. There was (2) great work from home spaces and the peace and quiet was the perfect home away from home. The only problems that I could possibly say was that I wish I was there longer and I wish I had found this oasis sooner. Chris's communication was excellent and I will be booking this again next time I can.

Great value at Chris’ place. Wonderful to be there a bit outside of steamboat. Can cook amazing meals in that kitchen
