The villa was in a great situation, although we know Rojales and the surrounding area well. The villa was very clean and the oven, fridge freezer, hob and dishwasher were basically new. The washing machine was great although I had to clean the inside rubber!! The pool was fantastic and cleaned regularly. Well worth a visit

This is a lovely house in a relatively quiet location and we enjoyed our stay but there were a few issues. The road is wide and very quiet but it is close to a main route into the centre of Quesada so you do hear the noisier trucks and motorbikes now and again. You will need a car to get to the shops and amenities. You have to park on the road, the driveway gates are locked. Take care on the tiled footpath outside by the entrance gate as it's falling to pieces and in dire need of repair. It's easy to trip when carry bags or suitcases. Be prepared for gardeners and pool maintenance people to turn up unannounced, they have keys. We had to oversee the pool being repaired for a day and then being filled up. The filling took 2 days during which there was no water pressure in the house, we had a routine of switching it off, having a shower, do the washing up then switching it back on again. We also had to constantly keep an eye on it to make sure it didn't overfill as the automatic water top up system was broken. A lot to ask of paying guests, we should have at least been warned in advance about it. There are no instructions or information about anything other than for the microwave and induction hob which we needed. Simple things were missing, no kettle, no plug for the bathroom sink and there was not enough pillows and blankets, probably enough for hotter weather but not for early May. The towels were supplied by Interhome and were wafer thin nearly like tea towels, not good. There is just one proper power socket in the kitchen used by the microwave so the owners have lashed up a power fly lead under the worktop along with a short extension lead to connect things up, it's not practical and not safe and needs changing. Fast fiber broadband is available if you know the wireless key, we couldn't find it, it's not what is printed on the back of the router. No mention was made about it in our booking info so ask about it in advance. The property has one major flaw, the total lack of privacy at the back where the pool and sitting out area are, you have a clear view of the neighbouring property and they do of you. Naturally no mention of this is made in the listing. You can see this in one of the photos but it's not obvious until you are actually there and this was a big disappointment. Fortunately during our stay no-one was there so it wasn't a problem for us but if they had been we would have felt very conspicuous. The owners really should do something to mitigate this. If you want privacy you might want to look elsewhere. We would happily come again if it wasn't for this.

La casa es fabulosa, tal cual sale en las fotos. Tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unas espléndidas vacaciones (piscina, aire acondicionado, TV, cocina completa, etc...). La gente de Interhome ha estado atento a cualquier pedido que le hicimos (se habia roto la correa de la persiana y la arreglaron enseguida). Seguro repetiremos...
