Amelia and her family, rented out their home to us. It was such a beautiful house full of character and incredible artwork. A stunning large garden for us to hang out in the sunshine. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to create a birthday feast. The beds were so comfortable with clean linen, super clean bath rooms. What a brilliant place to go and explore Wiltshire from. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Amelia is a lovely host and the home was big, with plenty of space, toys and books for the kids. It’s ideal for a family reunion/getaway in beautiful surroundings. The instructions to find the home were very clear and helpful. We were disappointed on arrival at the state of the house, there was a LOT of clutter, the kitchen was absolutely full of things and the whole home was very much ‘lived in’, which we didn’t expect. The fridge and freezer were full of food. The cleaners were there on arrival, however the place wasn’t cleaned to a very good standard. Some worktops and parts of the kitchen and bathrooms were still dusty and dirty. The bedrooms were tidy and well presented however. Also, the house gets very cold, and there were instructions not to set the temperature above 20 degrees, however we felt that it needed to be warmer always as the bedrooms were freezing (due to lack of insulation perhaps). Finally, no microwave although this isn’t listed as an amenity on the listing.

Amelia was very communicative and responded quickly to questions. We chose the Chapel as it allowed pets but closer to our stay we were informed that we would have to look after the cat. we made alternative arrangements for our dog.The house was a perfect space for all 12 of us and we enjoyed a good family christmas. A trip to Pewsey was a waste of time but Marlborough was lovely and well worth a visit. During our stay the toilet got blocked -we tried using the plunger sited beside it which made us think there have been issues before. The beds were really comfy and we all slept well.

Perfect for our friend’s reunion - 8 adults, 3 children and a baby. All the rooms were a good size and the house has a ton of communal space, toys, books and things to keep the kids entertained. The book selection in particular was a favorite of my 4 year old. Amelia was very proactive about reaching out on travel cots, high chairs, fire guards etc. very much appreciated. We would definitely stay again!

Amalia is a very kind host and her chapel is perfect for a relaxing retreat with family and friends. The pool is ideal for kids. Thank you, Amalia!
