Beautiful place. Incredibly private and a great spot in nature to get away from the world and just reset. Plenty of waterfalls and beautiful trails to check out within 30 minutes. A little over an hour to get to Nashville if you're looking for the busier side of things. Had a great trip. Would recommend to anyone!

Wow! We had the best weekend here! Not sure where to start.. beautiful drive from Nashville, easy to find with the great directions from host, the house was more perfect in person. Our dogs were in heaven, our 4 year old son thought it was so cool we were camping and was determined it was our house that we were never leaving. 🤣 We cooked all meals in the house and they had everything we needed. Hiked down to the creek/lake and fished a little. Hiked nearby burgess falls one day which was beautiful. I didn’t even realize we had something Iike that in TN! Beds were comfy, shower/bath had plenty of hot water, fire pit was awesome at night, and we played music outside and really felt like we were all alone for a few days. So secluded and we felt really safe the whole weekend. One note: although it’s beautiful and so fun, the spiral staircase might not be ideal for a grown man/someone tall, or a dog. I brought a baby gate for the bottom to keep the dog from trying. Can’t wait to go back! ❤️

Fantastic stay. Needed to get away and unplug for a weekend and this place was exactly what we needed. The place was exactly as described. Very private - an advantage of being on a dead end street. We drove in at night and the road was totally fine. Our dog loved exploring the creek and sitting on the deck. Hosts were very responsive. Would definitely come back again!

We LOVED our stay at Owl’s Nest - it was the perfect weekend getaway from Nashville for the two of us and our pup. We had so much fun hiking and exploring the creek below. We loved slow mornings reading and meditating in all the various outdoor spaces. We used the fully stocked kitchen to cook dinners and loved playing scrabble (they have lots of games). Agree with all the other reviews that it is very private and recommend 4WD to get there. One thing the hosts should get extra credit for is how good the hot water is! Was better than we have at home in the city, ha. They clearly thought of every detail and it made the experience so wonderful. We are already looking at dates to return in the summer. The owls nest was a perfect get away for us & our 2 dogs. It was great to be able to bring them with us & not have extreme strict requirements and fees to bring them. From answering questions before booking & providing adequate directions/instructions - made booking & the stay a breeze. We made sure to bring groceries with us so we could just stay at the cabin our whole time until checkout - kitchen had all we needed plus a fire pit to make smores! The space is VERY PRIVATE. There’s hiking right outside of the cabin & it is beautiful. We loved hanging on the deck watching the sunset. The road to get up to the cabin is gravel, extremely narrow - I was grateful for AWD getting up there. Make sure to pay attn to the directions provided & just prepare yourself for the last 10 min or so getting up the narrow gravel road! You’ll love it once you’re there, we did! So peaceful. The beds were so comfy! Definitely recommend.
