Wow, this place was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet. Like really quiet! Most of the time it seemed like we were the only people around the lake. We were able to enjoy the serenity and listen to the loons (and other wildlife). Granted, we stayed the second week of October so I'm sure the area is more populated during the summer, but even still, the location seems to be very peaceful and quiet. Loved looking outside our window or relaxing outside by the gorgeous lake. All the various colors of the leaves in the fall were stunning. Plenty of hiking to do very close by. We hiked tumbledown mountain via the loop trail (and a few other spots in the area) and loved every minute of it, although it is quite the climb in some spots. The cabin is so cute and well done. Very clean. It was more than spacious for me and my boyfriend. We didn't really use the loft area besides checking it out but bear in mind the steps up to loft are more ladder style, so definitely respect your limitations and those of the others in your group! There's not a ton of privacy if you do have multiple people, so keep that in mind if that's a deterrent in anyway. That being said, there's so much outdoor recreation in the area so I gather most people are not sitting inside the whole time! The fire place keeps the place very warm (as long as you're patient). Plenty of wood was provided which was a big perk. The temperature overnight was below freezing the one night, but between the fireplace and the space heater in the bedroom we were good! The hot water heater does a darn good job, so if super hot showers are your thing, you'll be happy here! It was a joy to have on those chilly days. As advertised, there is little to no cell phone service in the area. The wifi was fine for communication though so I could check in with my family and get in contact with in if there had been an emergency on either side. As you can see from the photos, there is no TV. This was great for me as I don't like the distraction anyway, but keep that in mind if you were looking to watch movies or TV. It's the perfect place to "unplug" and immerse yourself in nature! Julia was great to deal with and responded promptly during communication. We loved it so much we didn't want to leave. We are already planning the next time we can come back to this wonderful hidden gem!

Julia's camp on Webb Lake is very comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed a fire our first night ( and successive nights) and appreciated the Duralog and abundant wood available at the camp. We grilled our dinner on the propane grill outside and the view of the starry night sky from the beach with loons calling was so relaxing. The bed is very comfortable and the shower has great water pressure with plenty of hot water and lots of fluffy towels. We appreciated the coffee and fixings in the morning and enjoyed breakfast on the beach watching the day begin. The sandy beach made for an easy kayak launch and the views from the lake are beautiful. We also liked hiking at the Mt. Blue State park a short drive around the lake. Such a great place to relax and get in touch with the natural world. Julia was very helpful and responsive to us.

We had a wonderful stay! We are Airbnb host ourselves and we like when we get feedback, hope this helps! A few things we would of enjoyed or think you could use : steak knives, a bin for bottles and cans, extra trash bags, beach towels (we brought ours but people will use your bath towels and they get super gross and stained, we learned the hard way) scissors and maybe a lawn blanket to lay on the grass. We also recommend maybe a window AC unit for the bedroom? It gets super hot in there even with all the windows open and the ceiling fans going. But again we really enjoyed our stay and had a nice time away from our “city” life.

L’endroit est idyllique ! La maison touche le lac et il y’a deux kayaks et un paddle à disposition, on peut donc passer la journée sur place sans jamais s’ennuyer. La maison est bien équipée, le seul problème c’est qu’il n’est pas possible de cuisiner un peu sur place, pas de cuisinière ni de casseroles. C’est dommage d’autant que les restaurants sont loins!
