Wonderful home that hosted our family Christmas get-together. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, the kitchen was fantastic, and the layout of the home worked for us. The only thing I heard was about the water, but we were warned about it before-hand. It smells really weird, but it was safe! Loved that we were close to the Bernice stores since we needed things like drinks and ice, but also close enough to Grove that we went to dinner. Great location! Would absolutely stay here again and probably will next year when we solidify our dates!

Beautiful house for a family gathering. plenty of space for hanging out and cooking. Tons of activities and games included. Great view of the lake

The place looks like it did in the pics and had plenty of room for our large group of people. Just a few things to note is the smell of the drains/water they need to have some kind of filtration system anytime the water was ran or someone showered the smell of rotten eggs roamed through the house. I know the dock isn’t for swimming or hanging out on but the upkeep on clearing the Spider webs and wasp nests would be nice. We had at least three people get stung. One other note is the lack of a dumpster. When you have a large party staying there for a weekend there is destined to be a lot of trash. I felt bad just piling the bags in the garage but that was what we were instructed to do. But overall we had a great time, thanks for your hospitality!

many issues with the property, it appears the owner either isn't aware of or has chosen not to take care of this property. The idea of going on vacation and not having trash service (pay $250) if left is ridiculous. A few of the items in need of attention, the dock steps, the refrigerator water dispenser, master BR whirlpool tub faucet, a main floor bedroom bed footboard post was broken, outdoor umbrella was inoperative, broken tile on outside coffee table near the grills, main floor bath (the jack and jill between the two bedrooms) tub didn't drain, you had to stand in water while showering. Also I don't know if it is a Grand Lake area thing or what but the water has a bad taste and we had to buy water for cooking and drinking (it appears the home has a rather significant filter system but it wasn't either functioning or isn't adequate. The location on the lake is good except that is it located right next to a marina that has quite a bit of traffic and folks working on boats tools
