The house is nice and we enjoyed our two days there until the fire marshal and the city showed up during our breakfast asking to come in. They walked around for 5 minutes and then told us we had to vacate because the home is an extreme structural, electrical, and fire hazard. Apparently they have been having an ongoing legal battle. There are full time residents who live on both sides in units attached to the house who were then evicted from their HOME with zero notice. We scrambled to pack and were left to find multiple hotel rooms in less than 2 hours. We contacted Airbnb to let them know that the documents the man gave us stated that the home was not safe and should not have residents/renters in it. So I’m not sure why this is still listed. I don’t want to see some tragedy on the news about this home weeks from now. This home has no firewalls and the entire place would be engulfed in minutes. Don’t stay here with your family PLEASE. The home is nice but it is incredibly unsafe

The Arcadia Mansion provided by Airbnb was an exceptional venue for our needs, offering ample space to comfortably accommodate all of our guests. The host, Sam, truly stood out for his excellent hospitality. We hosted a small wedding event at the mansion, and Sam's accommodating nature made the experience stress-free and memorable.

We had a fantastic time. The Arcadia Mansion was perfect for our large family. Sam was a great host and was responsive to questions. Highly recommend! The floors are creeky; bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Communication before and after and during stay was good. . . though some lack of follow-through. Great space. . . grandchildren loved the meandering halls and uniqueness of the historic building. It was wonderful for all 12 of us to be together. Kitchen is well stocked. Host had pull-out couch and crib set up per request. We appreciated that accommodation. We did not feel clean in our beds. There was only a comforter on a bottom fitted sheet. . . no top sheet. . . no blanket. . comforters were not clean. No wash cloths were provided!??! Some lack of communication between host and helpers. . . 12 people needed a minimum of 12 towels and the host and I talked about that in advance. . .but they were not there. Carpets and floors had not all be vacuumed. Entrance door was broken. It would have been helpful to have an instruction sheet available in the lobby telling us how to access laundry, where the hamper for towels/laundry was located, where to put stinky trash.

Beautiful historic home. There was a sufficient amount of room for all of us. The rooms are huge, even the shared areas. We had an amazing stay
