If you’re a UF parent this Suite is better than any hotel in Gainesville. Close to campus, but far enough away to have no traffic and be nice and quiet. Will stay there again for sure.

This was a fabulous AirBNB location. AirBNB started as a way for home owners and individuals to provide places to stay that feel like home and that was the vibe here. * Tranquil Woodland Setting: Lonnie's AirBNB offers a peaceful retreat bordering the woods with a path to walk to the community garden. * Stylish & Thoughtful: Beautifully decorated and thoughtful - Aveda products were great and everything you could need in the kitchen. Heated towel rack was so neat. Note - there IS a hair dryer (a very nice one) despite not being listed. * Lush Native Landscaping: The zen space was so great and the yard had plants and fruit trees. I'd watch the anoles sun on the fence every day. The bed was medium/firm and the couch was firm. It was quiet which is important. Recommend 108 Vine for Coffee, there's a neat plant store next door and Peppino's pizza in the same area was just the best. Garlic knots. Homemade sauce. Heaven. Also recommend Tinker Restaurant (Latin).
Lovely unit in nice neighbourhood. Conveniently placed for our activities to the nearby springs. Check in was a little complicated by the app. Thanks for great stay.
Amazing place, second year visiting Gainesville for the Gatornational race and willing to return next year and will definitely stay at this place again, everything was exactly as described and exactly as the pictures. The smell inside and outside was pleasant and relaxing, a very quiet and safe place. Lonie responded quickly at any time, provided space and respect but at the same time was very attentive to messages about anything that was necessary.

Hello everyone! I'm Lonie Carpenter Airbnb Super Host. I've been a local business owner for over 23 years in Gainesville. I'm co-founder of Mode Salon located downtown and in the Butler Town Center. I also have 6 unique vacation properties in the historic district of downtown Gainesville. We went tiny on the hit TV show Tiny House Nation! I learned a lot about space saving design and I incorporate some of that in my new space. The style features are inspired by my travels. I created something unique for you all to experience. I'm excited to share with you my new space "The Studio at Sugarfoot! Its an open concept guest suite. I'd love to host you and share my new property with you where mid-century modern meets bohemian. I wake up everyday excited about life. I focus on the things that feel good. Being thankful for what is and eager for what’s to come. I try to be conscious and respectful of others and practice kindness and compassion. I find balance through yoga and breathing. Gratitude for all of life’s experiences helps me be present and mindful. I’m looking forward to hosting you!
