We had a lovely relaxing stay at Epirus . We instantly felt at home, and Eleanor was a fantastic host. Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.

Once in a while you find somewhere to stay that's just perfect and this is it... We've experienced several places to stay on our travels but this tops the lot. It's been a perfect base for visiting family and within hours of arriving we decided this will be our 'go to' place to do so in the future. Eleanor is so welcoming and her little dogs so very cute, and the orchard was perfect to keep our mischievous hound safe on his many tail-wagging explorations. What can I say? Eleanor is a 5 Star host and the barn is 5 star accomodation - quaint but modern inside with all mod-cons and very, very dog friendly - right down to having our own secure doggie meadow on the doorstep. The location, too, was exactly what we wanted, not least because one of our aims was to research my family, three generations of which were born and bred in the locality. It was particularly convenient for access to the local church which is just a short walk away across nearby fields with a friendly Churchwarden as a neighbour to boot. In short - lovely host, lovely place, lovely accomodation and just what we wanted. We had a great time!
