Generally we enjoyed our stay in the cottage, but there are some disadvantages that need to be improved. 1) Three bedrooms didn’t have any window AC, while the host told me that all of the bedrooms have. Those rooms were so much hot in the early morning that we couldn’t sleep though we had fans; not helpful. 2) we rented the whole cottage but when we arrived, one bedroom with 1 bunk bed and 1 twin bed wasn’t set—no bedding set. My daughter and her friends—two girls—had already planned to sleep there. They were so upset & disappointed. The host told me he didn’t get them ready because there were enough beds for 12 people. This was very frustrating, since as a guest, you should have the right to use any part of the cottage. 3) The tap water especially the hot water smelled so bad & stinky, while using for washing, showering & brushing.

This was a lovely place and had everything we needed for a great beach weekend. Lots of space for a big group. The only thing I would mention is that the path to the lake is not well-maintained and although we were excited about visiting a waterfront property we didn’t end up spending time at the lake because of this. Otherwise had a great time! Thanks for sharing your beautiful space!

our family of 10 had a wonderful stay :) the location is very peaceful with a really relaxing view of Carson Lake, but also close to Sauble Beach and the main strip. plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms!!

We were excited to spend our trip at Volodimirs cottage as he has a beautiful property. However we have been met with lots of hostility and lack of professionalism. There’s ALOT to say but long story short— he likes to add things that are not part of the listing and he seems like he’s trying to set his guests up. The biggest issue was water. For 2 days we did not have clean water. smelled awful &, he said to just let it run a while but then the water came out BLACK. I messaged him immediately on our 2nd night when this happened & he said he would come change the filter the NEXT day (our 2nd last day). I have cousins who got sick! Immediately, the water was fresh and better so it was obvious to us that there was something wrong and this could’ve been fixed before our arrival. His entire cottage is now clean, it was left organized but now we’re being harassed. It’s a shame because we had a great time, but it seems the host is trying to take advantage and not be accountable.
