Matt is a fantastic host. He truly cared for us to have the very best experience in the lovely village of West Tanfield. His communication was amazing, advice on travel arrangements was extremely useful, suggestions for dinners nearby were much appreciated. I loved every bit of my stay. Looking forward to returning again.

Matt was a great host, I very well run bar restaurant, food and drinks were exceptional! Our stay ended with a lovely cooked breakfast by the fire, I would 100% recommend.

Where to start? Well, Matt provides the fastest replies I've ever had on Airbnb, which is an achievement. The room was really comfortable, the pub lovely, the hospitality superb, the welcome warm and the food exceptional. Everyone and everything was beyond expectation and Matt really makes it his business to get everything spot on. If you love food, if you love a good pub, if you have a dog, if you know great black pudding when you taste it... stay here!
