Penny's place was a peaceful resting place while we were in the area scouting locations for a move. The view from her deck is amazing, and if you venture on a hike, you'll find her woods offer a pretty unique opportunity. We enjoyed our stay, and would gladly book again.
The street signs are not well lit nor easy to read but with GPS it was easy and actually fun! I am glad the party lights were on beckoning us to our cabin. Easy entry and immediately knew we had made a good choice. Super cozy! Clean, well stocked kitchen except for a blender for margaritas. Hand stirred would have to do! We had a large group, 6, and everyone had a comfy bed and privacy. Penny, the host, was incredibly friendly, easy to reach and polite if we had any questions or concerns The cabin buts up against the woods so it was so quiet. I have saved the best for last. The VIEW is absolutely breath-taking. Arriving in the dark, it was such a great discovery when we got up and looked. At first, it seemed far away from town but once we drove it a few times we realized it wasn't far. We went there to watch granddaughter compete at Evergreen Fairgrounds and it wasn't far at all. Had an amazing dinner at a place called, Lewis & Main. We would rent again !

This is THE cabin, wow what a beautiful property! My friends and I had a fantastic retreat at Penny's place. The pictures don't even do it justice - it felt both spacious and cozy, everything was clean, new, and worked great. There's an awesome network of trails behind the house, and if you go far enough you can find a secret lake! The grounds are big enough for some light roaming and exploring. There are so many tasteful details in every room. Every bedroom was a great option, hard to pick! It's a dreamy location, stellar views, great privacy, and the hot tub is out of this world. Will definitely be coming back, and will bring more friends next time! Thanks for a memorable stay <3

My biggest passions are connecting with people and sharing in space and time with friends and family, playing music and singing, hiking, backpacking, being active outdoors, traveling the world, and I still love everything about my career after 13 years. I moved to the States from England 14 years ago, and after spending 10 years traveling as a National Sales Trainer, I decided to call the Pacific Northwest my home, making the move from Florida via Tennessee. I retreated to the mountains and bought myself a cabin! I love the space I have created as a sanctuary that I call my home, and so decided I wanted others to enjoy in the serene and peaceful setting as much as I do. I hope that this will be the case for all guests of Pentoria Lodge.
