This place is in a very safe area in New Rochelle. It is a couple of blocks from the bus stop. If you need to take the train you should take the Route 45 bus which will take you to the Metro North New Rochelle train station. There are lots of bus routes that stop at the main bus stop right next to the train station .. The Route 30 bus brings you to Bronxville. The Route 42 bus will take you near the Flaming Grill,which is an excellent buffet in Mount Vernon. There is an excellent bagel shop which I believe is called The Traditional Bagel Shop near his place It is only a couple of minutes walk. New Rochelle has a large library downtown. If you like to shop try the Stamford Town Center which is a quick ride on the Metro. There are lots of shops on North A enue in the downtown section. Joseph is very hospitable. He let me stay an extra night because of an oncoming snowstorm. His place is well worth rhe money.
