we had a great time here. 20min drive to DC and walkable beautiful Alexandria old town one block away. perfect spot.
We had a wonderful stay at Diane’s. We were traveling from Vermont with a pit stop in CT to look at a college for our daughter and our hotel stay was less than desirable. I checked with Diane to see if we could check in a day early and she responded and confirmed within minutes. Her home was extremely well kept, very comfortable beds and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to eat in. Great restaurants nearby. Very walkable and plenty to do. Highly recommend!
A very well equipped and large house in a fantastic location, just off King Street. We loved the east access to DC and the free trolley bus up and down King Street. So many great restaurants and ice cream shops. House had everything we needed.
Diane's home was the perfect place to stay during our week-long family vacation to NoVA/DC. It was such a short walking distance from the King St metro stop, as well as everything else on King St itself, which was great for our 8 and 6 year olds who aren't used to walking everywhere. Our son loved watching the subway and other trains go by! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a lot of our meals at the home, which saved a lot of money (and allowed us to eat fairly healthy even while on vacation, hahaha)! There was plenty of room for our family of 4 to sleep, eat, and relax. Everything was clean and neat when we arrived, and Diane was super quick in responding to the couple of questions we asked. There were plenty of linens and supplies for us to clean up after ourselves. We would 100% stay at Diane's home again next time we visit the area! Thanks for hosting such a wonderful place!
Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay! The house was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It was also very well equipped and would have been great for a longer stay. The neighborhood was just what we were looking for. It was a short walk to the metro, Whole Foods, lots of restaurants and shops and just a few steps to the free Alexandria trolley but tucked away on a quiet residential street that felt very safe. Diane was extremely responsive and a great host!

I’m a DC wine professional who decided to run a few AirBNB’s for guests because there was a need for affordable, professional, furnished spaces in my area for Military, Travel Nurses and relocating Professionals. It started when I was home with a broken ankle, unable to use my basement anyway and a friend of a friend was a nurse in need. It’s been a great experience and I even recruited a few friends, family (and even my mom!) to do the same. I do the best to provide guests a clean, useful space and a great stay experience.
