The location was perfect, just a mile from the home I grew up in where we were celebrating my mom's 90th birthday. All of my adult children were able to join the fun comfortably. The house is amply stocked with just about everything you need! I had to do some meal prep for gatherings at Mom's and was able to do so easily in the kitchen. Thought has been given to many possible family combinations who could stay there, toys for kids, toys for adults, lots of different spaces to be comfortable in. We were so lucky to arrive just as the magnolia tree was setting flower buds, and by the time we left, most of them had opened and it really put on a show for us! Absolutely beautiful! Two - VERY SLIGHT - challenges: One upstairs full bath serving 8 adults and very bright street lights all around. Blinds blocked it out pretty well. Wauconda has grown up so much since I called this area home! Fun to see new local businesses as well as longstanding ones! So walkable, too!

Tami is an amazing host. She always goes above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here as the location is close to all the nearby restaurants. 10/10 would stay again.

Tami’s place was very nice and we had a great stay. Although the locations was perfect for our needs, I’m sure we would have enjoyed it more in warm weather being right on the lake! We did go for walks even in the cold. Tami was kind enough to decorate the house for Christmas which made it easy for us to celebrate as a family. The house was big and clean and we really had a great stay. We’ll be planning on staying next year if we can. Happy new year Tami!
