Beautiful house in a quiet location. Perfect place to spend with a large family. We had lots of wonderful walks to the beach which was about 15 min away. Very close the castle too. Spacious property with everything you need.

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful house with just so very lovely surroundings! The garden was even better than in the pictures, as was the whole house. Just perfect for luxury family holidays! Great for walks and slow easy life, also the castle next door was an interesting destination. Will hopefully come back!

We went as a group of 8 who we go away with annually. This property fitted the bill and was the best equipped that we have stayed in. Beautiful grounds and amazing gardens. The Freed Man and the adjacent fish and chip shop with Dimitri were outstanding! A very special place!

Stayed here for a week in February. Can now understand the many high scoring reviews and am very happy to add to them. Location is excellent being about a 10 minute walk to the beach (takes about an hour to walk to Deal pier at a leisurely pace), brilliant for dog walks. Weather was pretty rubbish on some days but lots to do on those days if you like castles/forts and leisurely cafe or pub breaks. Inside, the house is excellent for entertaining. Our group of 9 had an age range of 13-84 and there was plenty of space for all. Kitchen-wise we cooked most days and found every bit of kit we needed. Claire as a host was organised and responsive. All instructions were crystal clear and any questions we had were promptly answered. All in all, very happy with our visit and would highly recommend.
