What can I say, the grooms quarters is a magical place. Peaceful, tranquil or set in the grounds of a highly spec modern super clean home. Everything you need for a home to home stay, with the superb heated swimming pool and hot tub. The bar in the garden is a lovely spot to chill with a beer and play games with the family. Paul and his family are the best hosts I’ve come across on Airbnb, met us on arrival, attentive, warm and welcoming. Paul is so approachable someone you can easily have a beer with and let the time go by. I can’t recommend this place enough, for a weekend or more away you won’t be disappointed.

Our time spent at the Groom's Quarters was absolutely amazing. Paul was the consummate host, greeting us at arrival and giving us a guided tour of the property to ensure we had everything we needed. The property itself was immaculate and exactly as advertised, if not better. We loved spending time in the pool, which was always at the perfect temperature and then lounging in the hot tub come the evening. The pavilion bar was a lovely touch and my daughter enjoyed the arcade games which were free to play. Paul made sure we were comfortable while also giving us space and privacy which made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend the Groom's Quarters and we will definitely be staying again soon.

We’ve just returned from a weekend stay at the Grooms Quarters. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. The accommodation was spotless, clean bedding and towels were provided and every other amenity you could ask for, including a stocked wine chiller! Outside the private courtyard has a large hot tub which we used every day. The garden (shared with 2 other lodges) is immaculately kept, with a lovely heated pool that kept the kids entertained, lawns and an outside bar. The bar is kept stocked with beer and wine, with a dartboard, TV and other games. Paul made us feel extremely welcome, and was on hand to answer any questions we had. I’d highly recommend a visit!
