Linda and her property were awesome! Linda provided amenities WAY beyond expectations…food, toys, etc. A great host and a great home. The neighbourhood on the other completely ruined this experience. It was very run down. The neighbours across the street had an all night party Saturday night well past 2am. Someone attempted to break into our car in the middle of the morning in broad daylight (welcome booklet does say to lock your car and/or the house if you’re not attending it, implying this has happened before). To summarize, we did not feel overly safe and even if we did we wouldn’t have gotten sleep anyway because of the party. Unfortunately, the neighbourhood was enough to ensure that we won’t return to this property (or maybe even Beardstown in general), which is too bad because Linda was an excellent host and her property was perfect for our family.

The stay was amazing. Linda received us with some very warm homemade cookies. They were delicious. We felt right at home. Our stay was short because we were there for a church event. But the experience was amazing. Very clean place. And extremely comfortable. Very spacious. Cozy. Linda had coffee, snacks, hot chocolate, and even some waffles and a frozen pizza for us on the freezer. Little details matter and we highly appreciated everything she did for us and our group that stayed there. We will definitely be back to stay here. Our experience was amazing. The front porch was beautiful and the area is very peaceful on its own. Quiet, not a lot of traffic. Friendly neighborhood. The price paid was worth the stay. Affordable, comfortable, and peaceful. She provided towels, blankets, feminine products (which is amazing in her behalf because you never know😅 the girls understand lol) snacks, candies, water, coffee etc. I highly recommend you stay here. And we hope you enjoy it like we did!☺️

Linda’s place was a perfect fit for our relaxed anniversary getaway! We enjoyed the large space and everything being so organized. The house having all of the necessities plus snacks was an awesome bonus! Thanks for hosting Linda!

This wasn’t my first time at Linda’s but I wanted to host my family’s Easter dinner and she allowed all of us to come and enjoy this in her beautiful very comfortable home.
