What an incredible place, rich in family history as well as the town’s. The view out of almost every window is breath taking. The Arbor Inn is an unbelievable place to chill out with family and / or friends. Near to awesome restaurants and bustling North Shore coastal towns, even in March, this is a gem of a place. Now combine that with our host Jeff who is a very friendly and helpful person. He was there to check us in and show us around while giving us some interesting background on the place. When there as an issue, he responded very quickly yet with respect for our privacy and schedules. Highly recommend this place to anyone who thrives on sunrises & beaches; and enjoys a peaceful home close to so many things to do and places to eat.

Jeff’s house made our first trip to Massachusetts perfect. Exactly as described, and Jeff was always very responsive if something came up. He was so kind, gave us local recommendations, and was even flexible to check us in a little early! I definitely recommend staying at the Anchor Inn if you find yourself in Ipswich!
