While Baccaro is in the southern most tip of Nova Scotia, there is something magical about hearing the ocean and feeling the air. Witsend is a great spot to "be" with your self and the elements.

Loved staying at Tracey's cottage. No light pollution so you can see the stars.

Tracey was so responsive and helpful. The cottage was gorgeous, super cosy, very clean and we saw loads of deer in the garden! So lovely. It's very remote and quiet which is great for a peaceful holiday. We also travelled off to Lunenburg, Port Medway, Digby, Kejimkujik National Park and Seaside park too - so a car is a must, but if you've got it this is a lovely jumping off point too. On local scenery, Crows Neck Beach and the lighthouse are wonderful. We got a lovely sunset from the lighthouse too. Quite simply a lovely stay!

Our stay at Witsend Cottage was like finding a hidden treasure. It's just what we needed – a peaceful break from the busyness. The place is cozy and has everything you could want. Surrounded by nature, it's so quiet and calming. We're already thinking about coming back, maybe when it's warmer. Seriously, if you need to unwind, Tracey and Mary's cottage is the spot. Tracey and Mary - a heartfelt thank you for making our stay so delightful.

We spent a lovely six days at Tracey’s cottage, and loved every moment. The cottage is cozy and homey. The kitchen had everything we needed, everything was tidy, plenty of towels and lots of throw blankets around - which was excellent, because we went during a wet and chilly time. The location is what sealed the deal, we made daily trips to the beach to walk our dog, visited the lighthouse a few times, I ran along the road while looking at the ocean. The fog horn went for the first two days, it was peaceful and soothing and we actually missed it when the flog cleared. I recommend this place if you want a private, peaceful place to get away from it all!
