The annex is a self contained guest suite providing comfortable accommodation (accessed through our house). Comprising a light double room with en suite WC, living area, kitchenette (mini fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, no hob/oven) and dining space. There is a private garden with table, chairs & BBQ. The shower room is across the corridor from the annex in the main house and you will have exclusive use. The house is located in the North Pennines, a short distance from Derwent Reservoir. We have plenty of private parking for cars, an EV charger (ask for details) and secure storage for bikes. On arrival we will meet you to show you the annex and facilities provided. The guest suite is accessed via the shared main door, hall and corridor. Unless there is a problem, we don't need further interaction, but you can call on us anytime. The view from the garden and bedroom window looks out over the North Pennines and to Derwent Reservoir. Its a great base to explore the local countryside and we have woodland walks straight from the front door. The light and spacious double room has a wardrobe and hair dryer provided. Just off the bedroom is a small WC. The lounge area has a two seater sofa bed with 32" freesat TV, wifi, books and board games. The dining table seats two. The kitchenette is small but ideal for making light bites, lunches and breakfasts (toaster, microwave and kettle provided). You won't have access to a kitchen sink, but we do provide a plastic box for you to leave dishes for us to wash and return daily. There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby we can recommend if you'd like to eat out. The shower room across the corridor has underfloor heating, a large towel rail, thermostatically controlled shower and toilet. This room is for your sole use. Outside you have your own door to a private gated garden, with flower beds, lawn and patio. A garden table and chairs is provided with atmospheric LED lighting. We can also provide a BBQ for your use should you require. The house is also home to our friendly dog Poppy, but she is restricted from your private space.
