I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay at Cheryl and Jamie's cottage. Cheryl and Jamie are so communicative, helpful, and welcoming. I traveled solo with my pup and was so grateful for such a peaceful, wonderful stay. The cottage is absolutely adorable and the hosts have thoughtfully tended to every detail, making it easy to feel right at home. One unique aspect is the incredible handcrafted furniture--it makes the place feel like one of a kind! I spent hours in the rocking chairs on the porch while my pup slept in the sun and we enjoyed the private field. Also, the king bed is amazingly comfy, and I'm not someone who says that about most beds! This is the perfect place for someone who wants to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks. I had the great privilege of witnessing the 2024 full solar eclipse from the cottage, so I will remember the experience forever. I hope to return again!

We had a fantastic time and will 100% be back! The cabin is super thoughtfully designed, the layout is great, very spacious and so functional! Plenty of hooks to hang clothes, dresser and small table to spread your things out in the bedroom, and very well equipped kitchen and bathroom. We cooked several meals easily: large fridge, great cook top and a legit toaster oven! Dogs had a blast running around outside, lots of space and very private. Cheryl was an extremely kind and thoughtful host :) And tons of amazing hikes 10min away!! We had the best stay!!

Cheryl and Jamie are wonderful, attentive hosts and their cottage is super cute and really well located for Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid, and the surrounding wilderness. Very quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. Clear instructions, easy to get inside. The kitchen has lots of amenities, and the loft and main bedroom are very cozy. Really neat place!

This was hands down the BEST air bnb I have ever stayed at, and I have done a lot of traveling! The place was absolutely pristine and the pictures can’t possibly do justice to the craftsmanship of the home! We felt like we were in a fairytale with the outdoor fire pit, porch swing, screened in porch and seclusion from everyone around us. The hosts were beyond responsive and helpful in every which way. This is a MUST stay if you are looking to be close to things, but want some privacy as well. I could go on forever!

Cheryl & Jamie's cottage is expertly handcrafted, meticulously maintained, and a perfect, cozy getaway. They were very responsive and helpful during our stay. I will definitely be planning another visit here.
