If you're looking to get away from the daily hustle and bustle - our log cabin is it! Close to the main road but nestled in pine trees - you'll feel closer to nature without being 100% off the grid. Our cabin is best suited for friends retreat or couples getaway. Just a 3 hr drive from Chicago & 2 hrs from Milwaukee/Madison. Charming, cozy, peaceful, our traditional log cabin (situated on 9 acres) is the perfect place to disconnect from busy city life. Snuggle up in the memory foam queen bed in the loft, and morning will greet you with a view of the pine trees in the backyard. When you're ready to start your day, the kitchen awaits; stocked with common utensils, pots and pans. If you don't feel like cooking, check out downtown Waupaca (20 minutes away) where you'll find supper clubs, pubs, and small-town shops. If you'd like to barbecue, bring your own charcoal. The main level of the home consists of the kitchen, dining area, living room, TV, a wood-burning fireplace, bathroom and bedroom with a queen-size bed & work desk. The upstairs loft has another queen-size bed. In the basement, you'll find a quaint pool table room & laundry machine/dryer if you need to wash. Bring your own detergent for extended stays. We have a Smart TV with Roku & Chromecast (bring your own Netflix/Hulu/Apps passwords). We have a couple board games, books, coffee and tea. XBox One is also available with one control.
