There are two bedrooms on the main floor—one has a comfortable queen bed that can pull into a couch (this is not an ordinary pull-out; it sleeps like a very good bed); the other is set-up for kids with bunk beds—plus a Spanish-tile bath, and a sprawling Great Room with comfortable, modern furniture. The bright kitchen is comfortable for intimate meals and serious cooking, too. As a big bonus, the garden floor includes an additional bathroom with a large tub and separate shower, a sitting room, a small kitchen and a bedroom with a queen bed. A Sonos sound system delivers tunes throughout the house. The house is exceptionally quiet. Very comfortable for a couple or for a family with kids. There's easy parking on the street or in the driveway. It's a nice walk to restaurants, groceries and cafes, and a very short drive to an astounding number of amenities and sites. The Silverlake Reservoir, and its popular running path, is really just steps away. The Silverlake playgrounds and meadow are also quite close. If you don't know Silverlake, it's a popular neighborhood, adjacent to Hollywood and Los Feliz, and about 15 minutes drive from downtown. Some of the best restaurants in the city are a walk from my house. It's just about half hour drive at low traffic times to Santa Monica.
