This place deserves 5 stars. It's a charming beautiful old cottage with a lot of history. Chinmayee was such a great host. She was very responsive and helped me find local recommendations. Arita - the in house staff made us feel right at home. Everyone in our group had only positive things to say about this Airbnb. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Ooty.

The place was exactly the way it’s been described. The house is old and beautiful and takes you back years . All the interiors are thoughtfully done . The space is huge and there is a small garden with beautiful flowers (winter months) The location is a few mins away from the centre of ooty and is perfect. It’s right by the road but you wouldn’t hear a lot of disturbance. Chinmayee had been a great host and came to check in on us too . Would definitely recommend .

This wasn’t just a stay, it was an experience. This place has the kind of character that is very rarely found in today’s world. The old caretaker at the property, Mariamma was the sweetest and accommodative. Chinmayee was quick to respond and helpful.

Calm, quiet and peaceful bungalow with a lovely garden. Spacious interior with all amenities. The host was very responsive and friendly. The staff there was very helpful and greeted us with warmth. Room heaters work well for a lovely cozy sleep! Highly recommended. I would like to spend more days there.

A beautiful colonial style bungalow. The furniture and settings made us feel like we were living in probably somewhere in Britain. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and cute gardens. Very clear instructions and local recommendations were good.
