Beautiful inside and out. Comfortable furniture. Upstairs looks like it was recently redone, so beautiful bathroom and rooms have great furniture finishes. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Great location - quiet, private, beautiful, close walk to the river. Met and exceeded all expectations.

I had a wonderful 6 weeks stay in the whale house. It was wonderfully relaxing and had everything I needed for a fabulous vacation. I will be returning in the new year and am very much looking forward to it. I would highly recommend the whale house and Belinda’s hospitality.

Belinda's place is a great find, especially for people who want to bring pets. It is family friendly, spacious and surrounded by lovely nature. We needed to extend our stay due to an unforeseen event and she was accommodating and welcoming.

The place is well decorated and modern. The pool is quite big and the wifi is decent. Although there is a lull in the wifi in the outside room. The rest of the rooms are up the spiral staircase and share the main bathroom with a bath only. The bunkbeds are wider than typical bunks. The king bed is quite comfortable. The outside room has an ensuite with a shower. The third bathroom is downstairs with a shower. There is solar energy for loadshedding and a water meter with prepaid water. Our water did run out, but it was resolved by the next morning. It's best to double-check that there's sufficient water loaded before your stay. The lagoon is a short walk and there is a shopping centre close by for groceries. Saturdays, there is a local market for food and crafts. To note, there wasn't enough sunlight, dishwasher tablets and toilet paper for our group for the extent of our stay so we had to buy more. The house is cosy, and it felt safe there. All 10 of us enjoyed our stay.
