When you turn into the long tree lined lane that leads to the villa hotel, you realise that you are arriving somewhere special. This hotel is very conveniently located. Extremely close to the Lucca old walled city. The villa is thoughtfully decorated to maintain the charm of its time and has many secret little spots to relax or chill and every room smells divine. The pool is a beautiful area to lie in the sun and relax and take a dip in the cooling water. The garden areas surrounding the hotel have comfortable seating and tables scattered in various spots so you can take a peaceful moment to enjoy your outside surroundings with a drink or cup of coffee or tea. Every staff member of the Hambros team are warm and welcoming and made our stay a wonderful experience❤️

the hotel was perfect for us - great location not too far from Lucca, pool was great in the heat and the breakfast was really enjoyable.

Hotel location a little far from lucca centre, however the staff were lovely and really attentive. Clean room. However keen swimmers and no pool as was closed and wasn't stated on the website it would be closed.
