Neighbours knocked on door for a chat when we first arrived. They told us you’ve done nothing to sound proof apartment. And they warned us to to keep noise down and take our shoes off when inside. He told us he is able to hear every conversation we have. Yes this was on arrival. No way should this be an 8 person apartment if the neighbours can hear every footstep and conversation. This makes it very unfair for them and the guests.

Very nice first floor flat. Set well back from the road. The address is 'Main Street' Kelty. Don't expect a busy noisy road though, this is rural Fife, a quiet little town and the double glazing keeps out the noise of what little passing traffic the is. The flat itself is decorated an furnished to a high standard and the bed are huge and located in large rooms big enough to take them without feeling cramped in any way.

I was concerned by the recent review written by Taylor but I'm glad a saw through abusive nastiness of their comments. The beds are some of the most comfortable I've experienced when staying away from home and at 6ft wide a real luxury to be able to spread out in. We also met the downstairs neighbour. A lovely old made who is of an age when male baldness is a predominant feature of his hair style. It this it very unkind of Taylor to be so detrimental about the old man's appearance. This place is lovely and spacious and although on the 'main road' in Kelty is set back from the road with a garden in front and is quiet and peaceful.

Do not stay here it’s a con! The host had his male neighbour with the shaved head and beard spying on us making note of absolutely everywhere we went and everything we done, completely violating our privacy. Beds were poor quality so we had to go to the shops and bought blow up mattresses. In the door 20 minutes and the neighbours came and complained, the police turned up unexpectedly and said they didn’t have a problem with the noise and that we were a decent, respectful group of people. Not sure if the neighbour is just a horrible person and doesn’t like this fact that the person above him hosts an air bnb or this is a pre-organised plan with the host to try and con guests of extra money. The host has requested an extra £200! There were no damages and when leaving the place we cleaned everywhere out of respect. The location is in a horrible area also. Whilst we were out the host let himself into the apartment and was taking pictures of our belongings… creepy and disrespectful!
