Lovely, peaceful spot in the woods. Very well thought out, had everything we needed. Spacious tents, comfy beds, fire bowls, a well equipped kitchen area and hammocks overlooking the fields. Short walk into Charlebury where there are a couple of nice pubs and a deli / cafe. Nice walks around the fields and down to the river.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There is absolutely everything you could think of needing (and lots of added extras!) - it’s all been thought of for you, you really could just show up with clothes and a towel and nothing else! Karen was a wonderful host and saw to anything extra that was needed. The setting is just beautiful and the beds really comfy! The added bonus for us was how environmentally friendly the whole site was, this made it extra special. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

We had one of the most beautiful stays here. It was nice to have everything in the tipi, not worrying about it getting wet as with normal camping. And there were also toilets, showers, even a kitchen area where families cooked. We made breakfasts and tea in the kitchen and made dinner on the fire pit, with our own logs and coal. One thing that was amazing when we were there is how friendly the other guests in other tipis were. That said, it still feels quite secluded, though there is a community feel. There are some great countryside walks right from the campsite for a long way till Chadlington. We actually went on a walk when the farmer was collecting harvest, so that was interesting. There is a footpath to get to the nearest town, Charlbury (10min walk), where you can buy food and other things. Blenheim palace is a drive away. You can walk on the grounds, or buy a ticket to explore the palace and gardens. One of the most beautiful places I've been to. Not as boring as others, though that might be because I started liking History. At the end of the day, it is very nice to get back to the tent to just relax. No worries needed.
