This has been our absolute stand-out stay, ever. Beautiful and comfortable accommodation, stunning setting, splendid isolation, we really could not have asked for more. The outlook across the Columbia river is superb, and the opportunity to watch those mighty vessels slip by, so silently! Between the outside desk and the riverside fire-pit, we were spoilt for choice for that evening glass or two. If we can ever come back, we will make this lovely place a priority. Krista was kind enough to arrange visit to the old Cannery, guided by her lovely father, Leon, who is the master-mind behind this fantastic little haven. This was an unexpected and exceptional experience, we could not have spent a more enjoyable couple of hours. Do go, and please ask for a tour!!! Thanks again, Krista and Leon.

The pictures do not do this space justice! The inside and outside of this stay was beautiful and homey. Highly recommended this stay as a peaceful getaway.

The stay was absolutely fantastic, the place was cozy and very welcoming. A compact kitchen but it had everything you would need and well organized. The view and surrounding area was just so beautiful, they even had the fire pit prepared. Definitely worth the trip!

The perfect peaceful secluded getaway! The journey to the house was gorgeous. If traveling during the winter months, would probably need snow tires/ chains. The views are breathtaking. Lots of exploring to do at low tide. Great variety of wildlife as well! Leon, Krista's dad, gave a great tour of the abandoned cannery! Restoring it has been his life long passion and you can definitely see it! The highlight was definitely George, the neighbor's friendly cat (aka welcome ambassador). He's a complete love bug that is content with just being with people- even while exploring the beach! Would love to come back!
