I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was here!! Paul and Ned were extremely helpful, and just a joy to talk to. The house is beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. We will definitely be back!!
I can't begin to explain how amazing Ned's place is. First I'd like to express how thoughtful, considerate, and generous this host is. A couple days prior to our check-in date I was contacted by the local host's manager, Paul. Paul had informed Ned of an incoming storm with a significant amount of snow expected. Ned gave us access 3 days early and didn't ask for a dime. They also arranged for the driveway to be plowed the first day of the storm. Westcliffe got over two feet of snow and the power went out. We didn't suffer a bit. The generator kicked on and ran the entire place for a few days. We felt at home since day one. In fact, if I could, I'd stay here indefinitely, I would. The beauty and peacefulness of this place is incredible. Ned and his manager are quick to respond but were never a bother. If you love the mountains, wildlife and all that comes with them this is the place. Thanks Ned!
It is difficult to put into words how truly AMAZING our experience in Westcliffe was. If you are on the fence about committing to this trip/living in the mountains - just know that Ned & Paul are always on call to support you during your stay. The way that this rental option gives you the full experience of living secluded on a mountain top, while also feeling like you are a part of the local community and can continue to work remotely with crisp internet access is unbelievable. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, and the views are unmatched. With about a 15-20 minute drive into the town of Westcliffe, you are never far away from the essentials you need. The town was full of awesome people, and a few bars & restaurants in case you want to enjoy a day out on the town. My fiancé and I wanted to take advantage of WFH opportunity & experienced zero issues with wifi. We will be coming back for an extended stay with Ned & Paul at some point in the future, and we can’t recommend it enough

Perfectly nestled among the tall trees of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range, our land has total peaceful privacy far from the bright lights and loud noise of any busy city. Since there is ample space on either side of our 30+ acre property with endless National Forest at your backyard - you are guaranteed a safe, tranquil, and relaxing stay
The cabin is very easy to find and access via motor vehicle. Once you enter the main entrance, two spacious driveways lead straight to the cabin door. All roads are well-maintained in the town of Westcliffe and finding the cabin is straightforward. GPS is highly recommended to ensure smooth travel around the valley. Hiking and trail maps are available at the home as well as online.
